 Job Purpose:

 The Estimator Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for mechanical systems, with a focus on firefighting and life safety systems, during the tendering phase of construction projects. This role ensures competitive, compliant, and comprehensive bids by analyzing project documentation, assessing risks, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

 Key Responsibilities:

 1- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and tender documents to determine the scope of mechanical works, particularly firefighting and life safety systems.

 2- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical and fire protection systems, ensuring accuracy in material, labor, and equipment estimates.

 3- Prepare cost estimates for all mechanical works, including firefighting and life safety systems, based on drawings, bills of quantities, and supplier/subcontractor quotations.

 4- Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the best value and compliance with project requirements.

 5- Advise on tendering procedures and participate in bid preparation, including technical and commercial submissions.
